Edge of Tomorrow is an science-fiction movie starred by Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt. It is based on Japanese light novel All You Need Is Kill. Similar to Tom Cruise's Oblivion movie, this event too takes in distant future where humans have discovered alien races.

The main role in Edge of Tomorrow is starred by Tom Cruise as Lt. Col. William "Bill" Cage and Emily Blunt as Special Forces soldier Rita Vrataski. Two of them team up to fight alien race known as Mimics and save Human world.

The action of Edge of Tomorrow unfolds in a near future in which an alien race has hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault, unbeatable by any military unit in the world. In the beginning of the story, Cage is an officer who has never seen a day of combat when he is unceremoniously dropped into what amounts to a suicide mission. Killed within minutes, Cage now finds himself inexplicably thrown into a time loop forcing him to live out the same brutal combat over and over, fighting and dying again and again. But with each battle, Cage becomes able to engage the adversaries with increasing skill; he is tutored by Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski, who is aware of the time loop and how to exploit it. And, as Cage and Rita take the fight to the aliens, each repeated encounter gets them one step closer to defeating the enemy.
